At the corner of Hietalahdenranta and Hietalahdenkatu streets,  a graceful wooden house for one family was built at the end of the 19th century, whose owner was merchant Paul Sinerbrychoff. In this house, Salve also took its first steps as a restaurant - as a kiosk that offered food. Salve moved to its present location in 1927.
